YouTube Creator Summits MAKERS MAKING COMMUNITY explore

YOUTUBE CREATOR SUMMITS

How do we make our  top Creator talent  feel more connected and integral to the YouTube Brand?

To foster a community, MAS invited YouTube’s top Creators to learn and connect together. We created an immersive experience where these guests could play an essential role in developing YouTube brand objectives and the future of content on the platform.

An open, honest, informal approach to content allowed guests to engage in thoughtful dialogue with YouTube executives. The main stage hosted a series of inspiring speakers, from Will Smith and Janelle Monae to Tony Hawk and Kris Jenner. Along with promoting conversation and building community, these multi-day summits across North America didn’t forget the fun. Lively parties and offbeat experiences — such as the “Hangover Brunch Breakout” where YouTube Chief Business Officer Robert Kyncl went behind the bar to serve Bloody Marys and chat up the guests — kept the Creators engaged and entertained.

The event originated with the “Top Creator Summit” in NYC and, shortly after, expanded to annual events in multiple cities to celebrate Creators across verticals on the YouTube platform. While the format of the Summits remained consistent throughout, we leaned into the culture and interests of each audience to create personalized experiences that celebrated the uniqueness of each Creator

Summits Include:

  • Top Creator Summit (NYC)
  • Black Creator Summit (D.C., Atlanta)
  • Latin American Creator Summit (LA)
